Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights

Your Body. Your Rights. Your Future.

We break taboos because silence is a weapon used to control girls’ lives. When a girl sits in a university lecture hall too terrified to ask where to get a condom or how to handle an emergency contraception pill, that silence isn’t accidental; it’s designed to keep her dependent.

We are tearing down those walls. Through bold campaigns and creative grassroots tools, we flood campuses and communities with raw, unapologetic truths about bodily autonomy, consent, and comprehensive sexual health. We call out stigma for what it actually is: a tool of control used to police young women’s bodies.

Every young person has an absolute right to safe, dignified, and non-judgmental SRHR care, free from the judgment of hospital gatekeepers, the threat of unsafe procedures in the shadows, and moral policing. We turn whispers into demands, empowering girls to claim their healthcare at the clinic counter, inside university classrooms, and right at policymakers’ doors.

Our Focus Areas

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Information, Services, and Advocacy

Voices transforms how young people access SRHR information and services by creating safe, judgment-free spaces where difficult conversations become possible. Through innovative platforms like Info Cafés and SRHR Bonfires, along with a dedicated network of Campus Health Ambassadors, Voices equips students with accurate knowledge and connects them directly to youth-friendly SRH services.

Communications and Campaigns

Voices uses communication strategies, digital advocacy, and peer-led mobilization to shift cultural norms, reduce stigma, and expand outreach. Through flagship initiatives like the My Choice Campaign, the organization promotes bodily autonomy and equips young people with accurate SRHR information for informed decision-making across universities and higher institutions of learning.

Skills and Vocational Training

Voices equips girls and young mothers with practical, market-relevant vocational skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship tools. This focus area bridges vulnerable young women to sustainable livelihoods, helping them overcome systemic barriers and achieve long-term economic independence.
