Ending Violence Against Women and Girls
Equipping Girls to End Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
Every girl and young woman knows what it is like to carry a heavy, invisible weight: the constant caution, the unwanted advances, and the suffocating shadow of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) that tries to dictate how she lives her life. No girl should ever have to second-guess her safety, normalize disrespect, or carry the trauma of abuse in silence.
As a feminist organization, we are done telling girls how to adjust themselves to avoid harm. The problem is never the girl; it is the abuse and the culture that protects it.
Our work is about shifting that power back to where it belongs. We walk shoulder-to-shoulder with girls and young women, building spaces where they can lean on each other, share their truths, and turn their collective strength into protection. We equip girls with the tools, knowledge, and community backing to stand up, call out SGBV, shatter the silence, and demand the safe, uncompromised freedom they deserve.
How We Do It
Creating safe spaces and training Campus Health Ambassadors. Creating trusted spaces where girls can speak openly, share experiences without judgment, and build the collective confidence to stand against abuse together. Training young women to call out SGBV, challenge community normalization of harassment, and shift the shame away from survivors and squarely onto perpetrators.
Putting Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) policies in institutions of learning. We work directly with institutional leadership to design, strengthen, and enforce clear policies across schools and campuses, ensuring girls know exactly what SGBV is, what their rights are, and where to turn when those rights are violated.
Partnering with legal CSOs, law enforcers, and psychosocial support providers. We bridge the gap between survivors and justice by working hand-in-hand with legal aid organizations, law enforcement, and mental health professionals to ensure girls receive immediate, compassionate, and uncompromising support when they speak out.
