Violence Against Women and Girls

Girl Empowerment Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
Every girl and woman deserves to live free from violence, fear, and harmful social norms. This pillar focuses on mobilizing, training, and empowering girls to become confident leaders and change-makers in their communities. Through targeted education and support, girls are equipped to challenge gender-based violence and advocate for safer, more equitable environments.
Our Focus Areas
We target violence at all levels – in homes, streets, and institutions. Our crisis centers provide immediate safety for survivors, offering shelter, counseling and legal aid. We train police and judges to handle cases with expertise and empathy, while community programs teach boys and men about healthy masculinity. Schools implement our consent curriculum, creating safer spaces for girls to learn and grow.

Our Impact
We are creating a future where girls and women are safe, heard, and empowered. Through community-based programs, leadership training, and advocacy, we’ve sparked meaningful change in attitudes and actions around gender-based violence. Girls are stepping into leadership roles, harmful norms are being challenged, and communities are becoming safer and more inclusive. Every step forward is a testament to the power of education, empowerment, and collective action
